Allen, Gilbert Robert James “Bob”
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Mariposa House Hospice in Severn on Monday July 25th, 2022, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Barb Allen (nee Hearty) for 56 years. Loving father of Sherry Allen (Darrin) and Carrie Ann Allen – Walton (Phil). Cherished grandfather of Liam and Jessica. Dear brother of Ruby Lamondin (late Murray) and Jenny Secord (late Edward). He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his family and many friends. A celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at a later date. Bob is a veteran of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI), a member the Commissionaires Canada, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 34, Orillia and a member of the Army Navy and Airforce, Unit 400. The family wish to extend a very sincere thank you to all the staff at the Mariposa House Hospice for their compassion and their excellent care of Bob.
