With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Bill Dillon on July 1, 2022 at the age of 77 years.
Beloved husband of 56 years to Connie (nee Nead).
Loving father of Sandi and her husband Darrin Dolsen and Jay and his wife Kelly Dillon.
Proud Pap of Mitch Dolsen, Marissia and her husband Jason Beaupre and Kaley Vance.
Super proud Great Pap to Owen Beaupre.
Honourary Pap to so many from Dee and Nan’s daycare.
Dear son of the late Herb (2002) and Ada (Wellwood) Dillon (1992).
Dear brother to the late Howard Dillon (2006) and his late wife Theresa (2021), Charlene and husband George Abray, Dan Dillon and wife Elaine, Margaret Anne and her late husband Jim Milliman (2010), the late Robert (2019) and his surviving wife Vicki Dillon, the late Carl Dillon (2005) and his surviving partner Harriet FitzGerald, Mary Catherine Collins, Rosemary and her husband Doug Millar, Diane and her husband Bill Colvin.
Son-in-law to the late Floyd (1987) and Thelma Nead (2007).
Brother-in-law to the late Audrey (2014) and her surviving husband Larry Quick, the late Alan Nead (2012), the late Linda Beckstead (2019), Dale Nead and his wife Sheila and Judy and her husband Larry Atkinson.
Missed by many nieces and nephews and many great friends.
Bill worked in the glass business for over 30 years and was a car salesman in Chatham for six years before he was forced into retirement due to a diagnosis of Wegeners Disease. He fought this disease for 19 years.
Bill loved his family, community and his church. He loved stock car racing, horse racing and a good game of euchre. He served on many committees throughout the years and was passionate about each one.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life and interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Merlin will be held at a later date.
