Morrison– It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William “Bill” Leslie Morrison of Mooretown. Bill passed away at the L.H.S.C.-Victoria Hospital, London on Monday March 21, 2022 at the age of 68 years. Loving father of Nicole Morrison-Kowalchuk (Mark) of Calgary and Jamie Morrison (Sherri) of Port Lambton. Treasured grandfather of Jonas Kowalchuk. Dear brother of Jo-Ann Clysdale of Sarnia. Survived by Jane Lane (Morrison) and many loving nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by; his parents, Ivan and Lily Morrison and by his sister, Paulette Morrison. Bill was a long time employee of Bassell having retired at 55 as a 3rd class stationary engineer. He was a past-president of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #447 in Corunna where he served for many years. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Saturday March 26, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place and following the visitation the family will take Bill to Moore-Union Cemetery in Mooretown where he will be laid to rest with his parents.
