Fortier, Bertrand “Bert” – passed away at Barrie Manor on Monday, June 20, 2022 in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his wives Fleurette Fortier and Jeannine Fortier. Loving father of Mike Fortier (Karen), Jeannette Thompson and Kim Blanchard (David). Cherished grandfather of Chris, Joel (Samantha), Tamara, Tristan, Cory (Amy) and Jason (Kendra). He will be lovingly remembered by many great grandchildren. Dear brother of Andre-Claude Fortier, Denis Fortier, Gervais Fortier, Jean Francois Fortier and Dominique Fortier. Predeceased by his grandson Mathew, father Romeo Fortier and mothers Annette Fortin and Cecile Cloutier. Thank you to Christine and Doug for always being there for our family and a sincere thank you to all the wonderful staff at Barrie Manor, Barrie, Ontario for taking care of our dad like family. The family will receive their friends at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Monday June 27, 2022 after 10 a.m. where a service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 11a.m. In lieu of flowers if you wish donations can be made to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario.
