Bertha McGuire
1954-2022
Following a lengthy ill ness, Bertha Marie McGuire of Aroostook, NB,
passed away at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on the evening of May
22, 2022.
Bertha was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on January 7, 1954. She was the
daughter of the late Aubrey and Phyllis (DeMerchant) Fitzherbert, but
was brought up by Wavel and Eileen (Johnston) Finnemore. Bertha leaves
behind her loving husband of 46 years, Douglas McGuire; her son,
Kendall McGuire (Melissa) of Shamcook, NB; her grandchildren, Cole
McGuire, Cody McGuire, Syrus McGuire, and Dante McLaughlin; her great
grandchildren, Hailey and Maddison; her sister, Barbara Inman of
Kilburn, NB.
Bertha was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Lorraine Inman; her
brothers, Ray Watson, Larry Libby, and Gary Fitzherbert.
Resting at Calvary Tabernacle, Perth-Andover, NB, with visitation on
Wednesday from 12-2 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May
25, 2022 at 2 pm from Calvary Tabernacle. Pastor David Ferrell
officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Foundation or the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated
by the family.
