Bernice E. Stewart
1932-2022
Bernice Ella Stewart of Ashland passed away on Wednesday,
August 10, 2022 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She
was born August 21, 1932 and was the daughter of the late John and
Capitola Billings. Besides her parent, she was predeceased by her
husband, Wesley, daughter, Wanda Hill, son, Wayne Stewart; siblings,
Donald (Phyllis) Billings, Clifton (Irma) Billings, George Billings,
Mary, (Hazen) Sloane and Alice (Ralph) Orser.
Bernice is survived by her children, John (Rena Cullins)
Stewart of Ashland, Bernard (Doris) Stewart of Ashland, Lorrie Stewart
of Ashland; grandchildren, Melissa (Todd) Manuel, Justin (Kerry
Culberson) Stewart, Jenny (Brendan Boone) Hill, Erin (Shane Dow) Hill,
Ashton (Jeff) Lee, Lindsay (Robbie Mignardi) Campbell; great
grandchildren, Tia Manuel, Brett Manuel, Kyra Manuel, Walker Lee,
Briar Lee; sister, Joyce Elmhurst; sister-in-law, Elva Stewart; nieces
and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at the
Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland on Sunday August 14th at 4:00 p.m. with
Pastor Doug Cook officiating. If so desired, donations can be made to
the River Valley Cancer Support Group. Arrangements are under the care
of the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland, NB.
