Bell, David. Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital on Monday March 28, 2022 in his 78th year.
Dave is survived by very best friend and wife Laurie, sons Mike (Nichola) and Chris (Jessica). Beloved Grandpa to Casey, June, Lucy, Clive. Sadly missed by Patterson siblings Sandy, Tom & Penny,and their families. Also missed by recently discovered half sisters & brother in British Columbia, Merilyn, Lynda, Bev, and Murray. Predeceased by mother Sylvia Bell, grandparents Mathilda & William Tyrell & Uncle Reginald Tyrell.
Dave worked as an Industrial Millwright for Stelco, Hilton Works, Grand Erie Works, Lundy Steel, IMC. Dave & Laurie moved to the Dunnville area in 1973, quickly came to love the community and built their family home on Hutchinson Rd. (including a baseball diamond & music studio). He was dedicated father who supported his family in all their endeavours. Dave loved motorcycle riding, and owned bikes his whole adult life. He loved playing bass & vocalizing on stage with many bands from bluegrass to rock classics with Linda’s Kitchen, Leatherwood, Shotgun, Mundaze, Current Affair, On The Wagon and Kitchen Jam Band. He loved singing choral harmonies with The Harbour Lite Singers for many years. Dave was a nature lover who enjoyed long hikes with his dogs, and in later years, long road trips with Laurie.
