Barbara Smith Miser – age 74 of Morristown passed Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Of the Baptist faith. As pioneer for women, Barbara worked at Jim Cogdill Dodge in the 1980’s before most women did that type of work. She was a single mother for ten years. She taught her son to love America and was a proud vet mom. Barbara loved gardening, flowers, making flower arrangements, and animals. She had a big heart and dearly loved her family and friends. Preceded in death by husband, Herb Miser; father, Columbus Dee Haggard; and mother, Ora Fox Haggard. Survived by son, Jason B. Smith; daughter-in-law, Kayla A. Smith; step-daughter, Kristy Miser Adams; sisters, Sheila Price and Pat King; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 2:30-3:30 PM Sunday, January 23, 2021, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 3:30 PM with Dr. Bruce Martin officiating.
