Obituary
The passing of Austin James Mills occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday March 27, 2022. Austin was born in Abrams Village, PE on August 10, 1948, to the late Ellis and Aletha (McNally) Whalen. He is survived by his half sisters Cindy Lane and Deborah Reynolds as well as several nieces and nephews.
Austin was a Truck Driver for many years. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church and a member of AA for 30 years. Austin loved playing the guitar and was recently learning to play the accordion.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Gerald Whalen and infant brother Calvin Whalen.
By request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
