On March 5, 2022, Ashley Sloan-Hunter of Goodfish Lake passed away at the age of 33 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Colten; 2 sons, Kashtin Jerrell Leo Healy & Kaleb Christopher Sloan; loving mother, Shirley Hunter; siblings, Jason (Leah) Hunter, Colton (Desiree) Hunter, Cody Brighteyes & Cheyenne Brighteyes; paternal grandparents, Marlene & Gordon Albert of Sweetgrass, SK; aunts, Eunice Hunter, Pearl Crane, Tanya (Colin) Porozni; uncle, Paul Hunter; special sisters, Janelle (Declan) Starlight, Melissa (James) Hunter & Chantelle (Leo) Cardinal; nieces & nephews, Heaton, Eston, Eden, Phoenix & Sereia; numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & friends. Ashley was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Emily & Victor Hunter; & her buddy, Bill McConnell. A Wake will be held on Saturday (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Sunday, March 12 & 13 at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. A Traditional Funeral Service & Final Pipe Ceremony led by elders will be held on Monday, March 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake with interment in Hillside Cemetery, Goodfish Lake.
