Arthur Lee Jacobson
May 5, 1958 – January 24, 2022
Arthur Lee Jacobson of the Woodstock First Nation was born on May 21, 1958 in Orlando Florida to Albert and Sylvia Jacobson (Polchies). Art passed away at the age of 63 at the Upper River Valley Hospital on Monday January 24, 2022 after a long battle with Cancer.
Art was born at the Orlando Naval Base Hospital in Orlando, Florida. With his father Albert being in the Air Force, Art had lived in many places like France and many states with Michigan and Minnesota being the latest before settling at Woodstock First Nation in 2005.
As a youth Art like to play football, going camping, 4×4 mudding and all general outdoor activities as Art loved spending time with his family and friends.
As and adult Art still loved the outdoors and loved hitting the local trails on his side by side, where you would often see his dog Odie sitting beside him, as Art has always had dogs and a general love for animals. Art also loved “Tinkering” whether it was on his side by side or his vehicles, as he loved repairing things.
Art is survived by his father Albert Jacobson, Sister Phyllis Albright (Ed), Brothers: Doug Jacobson, Darrell Jacobson, Roger Jacobson (Annie). Although Art didn’t have children of his own, he enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. Niece: Christine Beltran (Isaac), Nephews: Mike Bartlett (Deedee), Chris Albright, Steven Albright, Jean-Michael Jacobson, Chris Nicholas (Frances), Paul Nicholas (Michelle) and 12 great nieces and nephew: Isabela and Asher Beltran; Dylan, Kassidy and Sylvie Bartlett; Ethan and Emma Nicholas; Dakota, Riley, Ashton and Peyton Nicholas; and Eila Boudreau.
Art is Predeceased by his Mother Sylvia Jacobson (Polchies); Grandparents: Patrick and Mary Ann Polchies, Sam and Mildred Jacobson.
Art will be cremated and the family will not be having a funeral service or visitation at his request.
Donations can be made to the Cancer Society or Dun Roamin Stray and Rescue.
