Passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at the age of 68. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, on November 15, 1953. Predeceased by parents Arthur Sr. and Ruta, and brother Andre. Survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Gail. Lovingly remembered by his children Jeff (Julie) and Jana, grandson Nathan, sister Anita Pitts (Calvin), and extended family and friends. Art was a pipefitter at Stelco for many years. He loved travelling and the outdoors, including camping, biking, and fishing as well as caring for his cat Quincy and tropical fish.
Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens funeral home, 947 Rymal Rd. E., Hamilton on Thursday, April 21 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A service will take place at Saint Michaels Anglican church 1188 Fennel Ave. E., Hamilton on Friday, April 22 at 1 PM. The family kindly request that all guests for the visitation and funeral service wear masks.
