Suddenly on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, Arnold Edward Zantingh passed away at the age of 56. Loving son of Henk (late Sylvia) Zantingh. Dear brother of Fred (Tracey) Zantingh and Carolyn (Peter) Van Reenen. Cherished uncle of Angela (Nate) Angema, Janine (Eric) Van Raay, Julie (Nick) Huls, Haley (Ryan) Gauss, Mitchell (Cara) Van Reenen, and Zachary (Cassidy) Van Reenen, and 13 great-nieces and nephews. Missed by many friends, coworkers and his close friend Steve (Denise) McManus.
Arnold was a well-known local home framer for over 30 years and was a business partner of Superior Framing with his brother Fred. He enjoyed travelling to Roatan, snorkeling, and walking, and spending time with his friends in Roatan. Arnold was a very social person, was kind, quiet and had a heart of gold. He was a gentle giant and will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.
Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, August 22, 2022, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario (cheques only at the funeral home please).
