God took Antonio Carnovale to heaven on December 8th, 2022. He passed on surrounded by his family who loved him dearly.
Antonio was born on September 18th, 1941, in San Nicola da Crissa, Calabria to Giuseppe Carnovale and Caterina Furlano. He was the fifth child of seven, having two brothers and four sisters. He moved to Canada at the age of 15, where he met his loving wife, Caterina. They married on July 10th, 1965, and had two wonderful children, Cathy and Joe. Antonio had two special in-laws, Julien and Cecilia, and one granddaughter, Sophia, who loved him to the moon and back.
He was a mechanic by profession but could truly be considered a “jack of all trades”; he knew exactly how to fix or get you anything you needed. Antonio had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others. He loved hot peppers, soppressata and Costco. His family and friends were truly blessed to have such a special man in their lives. Antonio was deeply loved by many and will be forever missed.
Memorial donations in Antonio’s name, may be made to a Charity of Choice.
