Anthony Tony Pajaczkowski Friday June 3rd 2022 avis de deces

On Friday, June 3rd in his 87th year, Tony died with dignity and in peace at Ed’s House in Cobourg, Ontario. He battled CTE – Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy as a result of multiple concussions sustained from playing 13 years pro ball for the CFL.
Tony was awarded the Shenley, most outstanding player in the CFL in 1961 and was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 1988 – these were just two of his many achievements.
But, his greatest achievements were his children whom he loved enormously and always tried to be the best father he could.
Tony loved a good story, delighted in languages and found joy in travelling the world.
He leaves behind his wife Katherine (McCall) of 25 years. His sons Derek (Kathryn) and Jason (Jennifer) and his daughter Dori (Rob Keannelly). He also leaves behind his 6 beautiful grandchildren.
Always one to give back, Tony donated his brain and spinal column for research to the Canadian Concussion Centre at Toronto Western Hospital under Dr. Charles Tator.
The family would like to extend a very special thanks to the compassionate Nurses and Doctors at Northumberland Hills Hospital and Ed’s House in Cobourg.
We would also like to thank Virginia, Tony’s partner-in-crime and caregiver. She made his last few years spontaneously vibrant!
