Ann Wiebe 1932 2022

Obituary of Ann Wiebe
Our dear sister, aunt and great aunt was born at Giroux, Manitoba on May 25th, 1932 almost reaching her 90th birthday. She passed on peacefully with her sister Betty by her side at Westview Care Community.
She went to school at Antler across the valley from her homeplace and accepted Jesus as her Saviour in her youth and was baptized in 1944.
She worked at various jobs in Calgary for a number of years at Bethany and Grace Hospital and a Children’s Shelter. She also worked at the Linden Nursing Home as dietary aid and in recreation.
She loved gardening at her place in Linden. She collected seeds in her garden and sold them to locals. She planted plum trees in her yard and enjoyed them immensely by selling them too.
She travelled to different places like the east coast and west coast. She loved visiting friends in the USA and relatives in Manitoba.
She moved to Lynn Haven in Linden after she sold her house. Then she moved to Linden
Lodge where she lived for 9 years and then to Westview Suites for 1 month. She spent 5 months in the hospital ending up in long term care until the day she left us.
Those left to cherish her memories are her siblings: Charlotte and Joe Toews, Claude and Mildred Wiebe and Betty Jantz all of Linden, Alberta and nieces and nephews. Those waiting for her in glory are Arnold, Selma and Abe Wohlgemuth, Bertha, Leona, Eldon Jantz, nephew Darrel Wohlgemuth and an infant niece Marilyn.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Ann
