Peacefully on February 2, 2022, at the age of 92, with family by her side. Predeceased by her husbands Cecil Hodgins (2002) and Philip Taylor (1972). Much loved mother of Kathy MacEachern, Gail Bogart and husband Mark, Pam MacDermid and husband Paul. Dearest step-mother of Robert Hodgins and wife Debbie, Elaine Chicilo and husband Larry, Carol Gauthier (the late Mark), Dale Hodgins and wife Donna, Brett Hodgins and partner Pauline Riendeau, Maureen Falica, Jay Hodgins and wife Carla, and predeceased by Leonard Hodgins and wife Diane, Colleen Stanko (survived by George Stanko), Donna Anger (survived by husband Rick). Cherished Grandma of Heather MacEachern, Ryan MacEachern and wife Wendy, Chris Bogart and Keri Symington, Dwane Bogart and wife Jenna, Lane MacDermid and wife Drew, Leah Kim and husband Stephen, Kurtis MacDermid and Mackenzie Tsalickis, as well as her much loved Hodgins grandchildren. Great-Grandma will be forever remembered by her many great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Anne Plexman (the late Fred). Predeceased by her siblings, George, John, Andrew, Mary, Steve, and twin sister Georgette. Auntie Anne will be remembered with love.
Mom is leaving behind her love for cooking, baking and the special way she shared her heart through her cooking, but the love for her family was what she cherished most. That strong love will be carried on by all of her family.
If you so desire, donations to Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or Hospice Residential Homes-Windsor would be appreciated by the family. Face coverings and reservations are required for visitation on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, 519-969-5841.
Separate reservations are required to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 834 Raymo Road at 10:30 a.m. Please arrive directly at church 20 minutes before Mass for check-in.
