In loving memory of Anna Annibalini (nee Mansi), 79 years, who passed away on Friday, June 24th, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre, Sudbury. Beloved wife of Remo Annibalini predeceased and long-time loving spouse of Clark LaFlamme. Loving mother of Laura Young. Cherished grandmother of Robyn Huffels (Kyle), Alyssa (predeceased), and great-grandson River Jones. Dear daughter of Michele and Luisa Mansi (nee Rinaldi) both predeceased. Dear sister of Carmelina “Lina” Baldassarre (nee Mansi) and husband Pietro both predeceased, Pina Martelli (nee Mansi) and husband Bruno, predeceased, Pat Mansi, Frank Mansi (Barbara), and John Mansi (Joanne). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Anna came to the United States in 1956 from Casacalenda, Italy, to join her family in Cleveland, Ohio. She then came to Sudbury in 1963 and married Remo in 1969. Anna is a life time member of the Women’s Auxiliary Societa Caruso and loved when the club traveled out of town to other Women’s Auxiliaries’ celebrations with her travelling partner, Gina Martorella. Anna was a lifetime long-distance walker and could be seen all over Sudbury for her daily 18km walk. She also had a passion for dance and took years of ballroom dancing lessons with Clark. To the staff of St. Joseph’s Continuing Care who took care of Anna; Anna and I would like to thank you. A special thank you to Jennifer Gosselin, from Anna, for all the care, compassion, and guidance that gave comfort to Anna.
Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Sudbury. Friends may call from 2-5; 7-9pm Monday. Funeral Mass at Christ the King Church, 30 Beech St., Sudbury, on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022 at 9:30am. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
