Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother Anita (Annie) Maria Francisca Tesselaar nee Huibers on January 23/22 in her 87th year, in the comfort of her home with her husband of 20 years, Cees Tesselaar by her side in Beverwijk Holland, after a short battle with Cancer.
Anita was born in Warmenhuizen Holland on March 13, 1935 and immigrated with her family to Canada in 1953. She returned to Holland in 1998 where she lived out her life. She loved to make her Homemade Cards. No occasion would pass without a card being sent with her special greeting from Mom or Oma. She took great pride in this craft.
She is survived by her children Kathy Symonds (Terry), Sylvia Reynolds, Barb Fair (Bob), Joe Ruiter (Mary) Stepson Marcel Tesselaar (Sandy) and her grandchildren Ernie, Katie, Bobby, Michael, Joey, Robert, Lars (Minte), Tim, Shoshanna, Noa, and Nathan and her great grandchild Chloe. Her siblings Chris Huibers (Margret), Mary Vandelaar, Albert Huibers (Helene), Willie Huibers, Frank Huibers (Lia), Barb Duhamel (Chuck) and Sister-in-laws Darlene Huibers and Elli Huibers
She is predeceased by her mother and father Cornelius and Barbara Huibers, her brothers Bill Huibers (Nell), Joseph Huibers (Joanne) Alfonse Huibers, bother in law John Vandelaar
She was Tanta Annie to many Nieces and Nephews.
The family would like to thank the Team of Doctors and caregivers that helped her transition to her final hour. A special thank you to Marcel and Sandy for your love and support and immensely caring hearts. She loved you so much.
Funeral services will be held in Beverwijk Holland.
