ANDRIASH, Ellen Jane – It is with heavy hearts the family of Ellen Andriash (nee Ayers) announces her unexpected passing at Bluewater Health Charlotte Englehart (CEE) Hospital on Friday July 8, 2022 at the age of 68. Beloved wife of Patrick Andriash of Brigden for 30 years. Loving mother to Michael Buhlmann, Eddie Babcock (Jolene Daly), Amanda Baltzer (James) and Kerry Andriash (Mike Holman). Special grandma to Carly-Anne Baltzer, Italy and Briella Buhlmann. Special niece to Thelma Ayers and life-long best friend to Marti St. Jean and numerous cousins and extended family and friends. Ellen will be sadly missed by her fur baby Sugar Bear. Ellen was predeceased by her parents Edgar and Phyllis Ayers and brother Allan Ayers. Ellen had a deep love and was extremely passionate about animals that was expressed through her many years working alongside Marti at P-King Kennels. Ellen also spent part of her early professional career as bookkeeper at Bay View Crysler Dodge, Sarnia. Ellen was proud of her family heritage, taking great pride by joining the Forest Legion and playing the tenor drum with Sarnia Legion Pipeband (formerly Petrolia Legion Pipeband), Forest Legion Pipeband, Strathroy Legion Pipeband and Chatham Kent Pipes and Drums. After retiring from Pipeband Life, Ellen continued to enjoy spending time with her granddaughter Carly Anne on the soccer field or her at her Irish Dancing recitals. Special thanks to the Brigden Fire Department, Lambton EMS, Dr Ahmed, Dr Mather and the exceptional staff at CEE hospital.
Funeral Details
Friends and family will be received at Steadman Brother’s Funeral home, Brigden on Friday July 15, 2022 with visitation beginning at 10am with memorial service to follow at 11am.
