Andrew’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Andrew Joseph Young Jr. announce his passing on Saturday, January 1st, 2022 at the age of 84 years.
He leaves to mourn with many loving memories: wife Annie; sons: Greg (Rose), Jason (Amanda), Sheldon (Angela Durdle), and Travis (Samantha); daughter Marilyn (Anthony) White; grandchildren: Amanda, Keedan, Dustin, Miranda, Jason, Virginia, Matthew, Abigail, Stephen, Lincoln, and Chloe; great grandchildren: Hailey, Blake, Dakota, Braelyn, Bryson, and James; brother John; and sisters: Gertrude, Melissa, and Matilda; as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Andrew was predeceased by: son Kevin; daughter Virginia; parents Andrew Sr. & Isabella Young; brothers: Reginald, William, Kenneth, and Dominic; and sisters: Alice, Cecilia, Zetha, and Carry.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions a drive-up visitation will be held on Monday, January 3rd from 7-9 PM at Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville. Please line up in your vehicles, when you reach the double doors at the front it will be your turn to enter the funeral home and visit with the family. Only one household at a time will be permitted into the building. Please note, to attend the visitation a copy of your proof of Vaccination (VaxPass or Paper Immunization Record) and a valid ID will need to be presented.
A funeral service, by invitation only, will be held from Our Lady of Fatima with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Piccadilly.
