Obituary of Andreas Antoniou
Passed away at his home in Fenwick on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. Andy Antoniou was in his 85th year. Loving dad of Jimmy, Sandra (Kevin), and Spiro (Lauri). Cherished grandpa of Christine, Selena, Natasha and Sarah. He will be missed by his former partner Anastasia. Predeceased by siblings Spiro, Effie, and Peter. He will also be missed by his sister Kelly. Visitation will take place at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Monday, September 12 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The First Thrice Holy HymnTrisagio will take place at 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home. The Second Thrice Holy Hymn ServiceTrisagio will be held at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 585 Niagara Street (corner of Linwell), St. Catharines on Tuesday, September 13 at 11:00 a.m., and it will be followed by the Greek Orthodox Funeral Service. The final Thrice Holy HymnTrisagio ServiceBurial will then take place at the Smithville United Church Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
