It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, and brother-in-law. Wally was born in Fort William (Thunder Bay), Ontario on June 21, 1929, and passed away in Edmonton on August 30th, 2022, at the age of 93. Wally was predeceased by his loving wife Phyllis of 68 years, and his parents, Archbold and Dorothy Anderson. Wally was proudly a 37-year employee of Imperial Oil.
He will be cherished and forever remembered by his sister-in law Joan (Glenn); his children: Donna (Norm), Carol (Ron) and Bruce (Kurt), grandchildren/great grandchildren; Trevor (Ashley): Locklynn, Levi; Kimberly (Jeremy): Austyn, Jayden, Wyatt; Melissa (Jaryd): Theodore, Kaia; Monica: Mazvita, Shona, Harare; and Braden (Danielle), along with relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Riverbend Lifestyle Options and the University of Alberta Hospital for their compassion, love and care shown to Wally.
A family visitation will be held at Rosehill Cemetery, with a Celebration of Life for Wally to be held with family and friends at Ellerslie Road Baptist Church following.
