Peacefully in the early evening hours of Wednesday, July 13, 2022, Amelia “Molly” Moreen Genaille left us to begin her journey home. Molly was 67 years old and a resident of Winnipeg, Manitoba at the time of her passing. Molly was surrounded by loved ones at the time of her passing at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Molly was born on March 24, 1955 in Duck Bay, Manitoba. Her parents were Martha Chartrand and Albert Boucher. She had six siblings; Yvonne, Lena, Harvey, Bill, Elsie, and Johnny. Molly spent her adult life living in Winnipeg, Duck Bay, and Winnipegosis where she raised her children and made many friends. Molly will be greatly missed by the numerous family and friends who knew and loved her.
Molly is survived by her daughters; Candace (Perry), Trudy (Nelson), and Danielle (Kent). She is survived by her beloved grandchildren Skyler, Blake, Logan (Lucy), Riley (Kurt), Bevon, Freedom, Jerrilyn (Kelvin), Brandi (Kirk), Brandon, Phillip, Mandy (Casey), Trisha (Dakota), Kent, Sarah, and Kenneth. Also great grandchildren Zaiah, Mason, Cylus, Alora, Lizabeth, Amelia, Lavinia, Nathaniel, Ezra, Eli, and Xavier. She is also survived by her siblings Nelson and Alice.
Molly is predeceased by her beloved daughter Georgina, her granddaughter Gabriel, siblings Yvonne, Lena, Harvey, Bill, Elsie, and Kenny. She is also predeceased by her parents Martha and Albert.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
A funeral service will be held for Molly on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Cremation to follow as per Molly’s wishes.
