Obituary
Allan Joseph Tourout, husband to Peggy Tourout and father of 4 passed away peacefully on November 17th, 2022 at the age of 81. He was born on September 12th, 1941 to Allan Tourout and Rita Tourout of Piccadilly and would continue to grow up there alongside brothers; Amab (Theresa) Tourout, Pius (Sarah) Tourout, Kevin (Pauline) Tourout, Finton (Paula) Tourout and sisters; Dorothy (Howard) Ogden, Eva (Richard) Sieminski, Eunice (Earl) Rose. He worked hard as a young man to support his family. He was happily married June 22nd 1996 to Peggy for 26 years and shared two children. They would lean on each other for support right up until his day of final rest. He committed a great deal of his life to the community and the many people that were lucky enough to become his acquaintance.
His Children Gilbert (Patricia) Tourout, Roger (Julie) Benoit, Allan (Lacey) Tourout and Holly (Robert) Gough have grown into confident, prideful adults because of his fatherly take on life. They shared their father in all of his glories whether it be parenting, fishing, cutting wood, mechanic work, and even maintaining his town’s graveyard and parish. Over the years Allan built a life for himself that he was proud of, which consisted of many jobs that suited him well. Being such a kind soul, he was someone you looked forward to working with. Throughout his career his family grew and eventually he gained 8 beautiful grandchildren who all love him; Avery, Parker, Dorian, Tyler, Joel, Ryan, Tara and Cody will keep him in their hearts, thoughts and prayers. We are all thankful for his forever deep contribution to each of us. May he be carried in all of our hearts and memories. Respects to the strongest man we will ever know.
There will be a Visitation & Rosary 7:00 PM. on Friday, November 25th, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Piccadilly, NL. Funeral Service 2:00 PM. on Saturday, November 26th, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Parish with burial to follow at Piccadilly Cemetery.
