Allan Leonard Meagher
August 18, 1973 – February 23, 2022
Meagher, Allan Leonard age 48 years of Waverley, died February 23, 2022 at home. Born in Halifax and lived in Waverley Nova Scotia all of his life. He is the son of the late James Joseph Meagher and his mother Bonita Margaret Meagher (nee Allan) and his brother John (Cathy). He was predeceased by all of his grandparents James Joseph Meagher Sr. and Margaret (Peg) Meagher and John Allan and Winnie Allan. He is also survived by his Aunt Joanne and Uncle Raymond Cormier, Michael (Uncle Mikey) Aunt Margaret Meagher. Cousins Michelle, Terry (Gale), Christopher (Kathy) Stephen (Julie), Craig (Devon) and all of there, children .He was also a step uncle to Jason Hall, Kevin Barry (Amanda) ,Jessica Barry and Sean Barry and step great uncle to Brooklyn ,Austin and MacKenzie and extended family. Allan was a member of Cheema Aquatic Club while growing up and established a lot of life-long friendships from that time. He was in the Boy Scouts of Canada. Then he was a volunteer fire fighter at the Waverley Fire Department. He loved to hang out and play pool there. He was a Janitor and worked for Service Master and was contracted to work at Lockview High School for many years. Then more recently he changed jobs to Banks Cleaning and Maintenance Ltd and thoroughly enjoyed working for them he was contracted to No Frills .When he had time he would hang out at Tim Horton’s in Fall River talking to friends and strangers that would shortly become friends. He would talk to anyone. He loved his trucks especially his last one .He helped neighbors and friends and his mother and brother. Whenever someone called he would be there to help or just talk. Many thanks to friends and family that called and texted or responded on Facebook. Our mother and I really appreciate everything. I think Allan would get a kick out of all the comments. If you would like to send donations to your favorite cause or charity please do it in Allan’s name. A service is being planned and will be posted when arrangements have been finalized.
