Alicia Renea Mills – age 48 of Knoxville passed away Sunday, September 04, 2022. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, where she was member of the Pride of The Southland Marching Band. After graduating with a degree in nursing, she worked in trauma and intensive care units in hospitals in half a dozen states as a travel nurse. After moving back home to Knoxville she acquired a job at the Knoxville VA Medical Center. She had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed hiking and gardening. Alicia was also an artist and love to make jewelry and painting she was also an avid runner and enjoyed biking. Preceded in death by father, Gill Boothe; brother, Mark Mills. Survived by mother, Lynne Mills-Porco; sisters, Stephanie Porco, Shelley Boothe, Lindsey Boothe, and Chelsea Boothe; aunts, Jerri (Jim) Keller, Cindy (Steve) Bell, Sharon Lakins and Shirley; uncle, Tommy (Prudence) Rochelle as well as host of family and friends. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at New Life Methodist Church with Pastor Teresa McClure and Pastor Ashley Helton officiating.
