Ziniuk, Alice Patricia (nee Woldnik)
December 6, 1925 – April 29, 2022
With broken hearts we say goodbye to our beloved Mother, Baba, Sister-in-law, Aunt, Friend…Alice, so dear to so many. Peacefully, on April 29, 2022 in Whitby, Ontario in the loving care of her family. Alice was the beloved wife of the late William Ziniuk (January, 2018) and devoted mother to her son Walter and daughter Cindy Nielissen. Without question, Alice’s pride and joy was her granddaughter and namesake Alice Nielissen (Ali).
Alice is survived by her sisters-in-law Doreen Woldnik and Helen Ziniuk and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Martin, nurse Tamina and PSW Sarah and the Lakeridge Health palliative care team for their exemplary and compassionate care. Alice was herself a registered nurse extraordinaire and it was comforting to see care in kind returned to her.
