On Saturday, May 14, 2022, Alice Rosalie Jacks passed away at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital at
the age of 83 years. Alice was born on August 29, 1938 in Creston to Ken and Hesper Biccum.
Alice lived in Creston for many years and worked as a clerk at the Hi-Way Cabins and the 7-11 in
Creston. She was also was a member of several clubs including the Eagles, The Legion and the Auxiliary
in Creston. Alice was also involved in Tai Chi for 2 years and the Seniors Computers for 3 years. She
loved to play cards and bingo. Alice truly enjoyed camping with her family and friends and having coffee
with the girls during the week.
Alice leaves behind to cherish her memory her children; Daniel Jacks and his family; George Gaugh,
Michelle (Jeremy) Hunter , great grandson Hank and Christine Flyn; Son Kevin Jacks and his daughter
Hailey Jacks and great granddaughter Lila. She also leaves behind her brothers; Terry (Sharon) Biccum,
Wayne (Joey) Biccum and sister Sherry (Dennis) Paulson and many nieces and nephews. Alice was
predeceased by her brother Kenneth Allison (Al) Biccum and sister Gail Julia Barisenkoff as well as her
daughters-in-law Lori and Ernestine Jacks.
