Alfred Seeboth
December 24, 1936 – November 16, 2022
Fred passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital after many health issues. We thank the medical staff for their dedicated care.
He is survived by his wife, Paula who he was married to for 60 years; father to Peter (Rosemary) and Monica (Dave); extended family to Jill, Franklin, Darren and Shannon Teemull. Fred was predeceased by his parents, brother, and two sisters. He will be greatly missed by all.
Fred was a loving, caring husband and father, known for his calm and easy-going manner. He was born in Germany and emigrated to Montreal, Canada, in 1959 leaving behind his immediate family. He met Paula, who was also from Germany, and they raised their family in Montreal until they moved to Ontario in 1977 and settled in Etobicoke. They retired to Beamsville and then St. Catharines.
Fred was an electrician all his life having apprenticed in Europe, as well as a skilled handy man who could fix or build anything. He was also an avid vegetable gardener, loved fishing, and enjoyed travelling.
In keeping with Fred’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.
