Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Alan Paul Robicheau announces his passing which occurred on Saturday, April 16th, 2022 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on August 1st, 1952, in Yarmouth, NS, he is the son of the late Mary Evelyn (Cosman) Seely and stepson of the late Howard Seely.
Alan worked as a welder for many years at the Saint John Dry Dock and when it closed, he travelled to Trinidad and Tobago, Texas, New Orleans and Ontario to also work as a welder.
He loved to get together with his family for BBQ’s and bonfires and to hang out by the lake, telling stories, which he had many of, and always made everyone laugh. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Alan is survived by his daughters Wendy Whittaker (Ian), Amanda Chase (Al Verner), Cali-Ann Kellar (Gratton Dallon), Tasia Kellar (Chris London); sons Alan Robicheau Jr. (Lacey Estey), Danny Chase, Jeremy Marshall; brothers Leslie Robicheau (Dorothy), Johnny Robicheau (Mavis), Grant Seely; adored grandchildren Shelby, Emma Jayce, Aleigha, Austin, Oakland, Griffin, Avian, Navah, Kylee, Tagen, Talen, Phoenix and Rider; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). As per Alan’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of life get together will take place at his daughter Wendy’s house, 43 Upper Golden Grove Rd., on Saturday, April 23rd from 2 to 4 p.m. Donations in memory of Alan may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
