Goodman, Alan
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Alan Goodman. Beloved husband, devoted father, loving son, cherished brother and uncle and wonderful friend. Growing up in Montreal and Edmonton he enjoyed skiing, cycling, hockey and nature. Trained as a plumber, he moved to Toronto for work where he sustained a life altering spinal cord injury. Undaunted with great wit and a twinkle in his eye, he wooed and married Anne-Marie (McDonald), the love of his life. Later they celebrated the arrival of a daughter, Victoria, who brought such joy to Alan’s life. He would always light up when telling anyone of her achievements. Unwilling to accept any limitations, he learned to ski, cycle and sail again. He took up and excelled in stained glass, loved travel and with a “why not give it a try” attitude, lived life to the fullest. And lest we forget, an AVID Ottawa Senators fan.
Family meant everything to Alan.
He was predeceased by his parents Roy and Mary Goodman.
