God called Agostinho peacefully on April 17, 2022 at the age of 85. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Cecilia. Cherished by his dear children, Rosa (pd) (José Perreira), Lucia (Cesar Coelho), Filomena (Asseged Beyene), Agostinho (Carmela) and Isabel. Proud Avô to Lucia (Peter), David, Ines (Michael), Andrew (Nicole), Kevin (Stephanie), Jason (Marisa), Jenna, and Emma. Adoring Bisavô to Claudia, Noah, Justin, Alicia, Olivia, Ezra, Gabriel, Aiden, Lucas and Avery. Agostinho will be dearly missed by his sister Adelaide, and reunited in Heaven with his siblings João, Maria José, Filomena, Vittoria, Conceicao, José, Manuel, Martinha, Alice. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. If so desired, donations in memory of Agostinho may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home “Toronto” Chapel (2080 Dufferin St. 416-656-3332) on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 21st, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church. (15 Grace St., Toronto, n. of Dundas). Interment to follow at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery.
