Suddenly entered into rest at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Picton on Sunday, July 31, 2022, Agnes Russell (nee Snider) of Picton died at the age of 91. She was the daughter of the late Herbert & Helen Snider (nee Fawcett) and the wife of the late Ray. Agnes was the ‘Mother’ of Robin (Elizabeth) and ‘Grandmother’ of Jenny and Allen. She is survived by her sisters Joan Foss and Etta Hart, both of Peterborough and was predeceased by her brother Keith Snider, and her sisters Dorothy Torrance, and Mae Ward. Agnes will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Russell is resting at Rushnell Funeral Home – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450) for visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Church of St. Mary Magdalene on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 2 pm. Interment Glenwood Cemetery, Picton. If desired, donations to Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation “Back the Build” would be appreciated by the family.
