It is with great sadness that the family of the late AGNES REID of Baine Harbour, NL, announces her passing. Agnes passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, NL, on Monday, March 07th, 2022 at the age of 89.
Agnes was predeceased by her husband Harold, parents John and Jemima Bailey and her brother Winston Bailey and brothers in law Donald Pike, Charlie Gilbert and Frank Barrett.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his sons, Hughie (Helen), Baine Harbour and Norman, Brooks, AB, daughter Barbara Reid, Toronto, ON; sisters Eva Gilbert, Fortune, Barbara Barrett, Arnold’s Cove, Audrey Reid (Harvey), Baine Harbour and Phyllis Pike, Baine Harbour: 4 grandchildren, Bradley (Mary), Jeffrey (Hilda), Aaron, and Samira; 6 great-grandchildren, Nick and Carly Reid, Melissa (Bradley), Stephen (Rosie), Devin (Kerry), and Ashley (Kyle) and I great great granddaughter Hannah; and a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The Reid Family will accept visitors at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Baine Harbour. In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of COVID 19, a walk through visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 08th, from 7 pm – 9 pm and on Wednesday, March 09th, from 1 – 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Baine Harbour on Thursday, March 10th, 2022 at 2:30 PM. Interment will follow at the St. Mark’s Anglican Church Cemetery in Baine Harbour.
As per COVID – 19 regulations, everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are required.
In Lieu of flowers, donations in Agnes’s memory, may be made to St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Baine Harbour.
