We are saddened and heart broken to announce the sudden
passing of our dear mom, Agnes Louise O’Reilly (nee Nugent) on January
23, 2022, at her home in Mount Pearl, NL, at the age of 87
years.
Predeceased by her husband Edward (Ned), her brother George
Cantwell and his wife Geraldine; her brother-in-law Richard Wayne; and
her nephew David Barbrick.
Leaving to mourn her only sister Loretta Wayne; and her
beloved children: Cathy (Keith Woodman); Donna (Paul Pearcey); Edward
(Daphne); Loretta (Paul Cochrane); John (Alexis).
Also leaving to mourn 11 grandchildren: Wesley,
Kayla, Stacey; Andre, Julian; Melissa, Emily; Shannon, Justin;
Jonathan and Jennifer; 11 great grandchildren: Tenisha, Harmonee,
Nate; Chloe, Bentley; Harrison, Lily; Riley; Charlie, Nicole and
Henry.
Also leaving to mourn nieces, nephews: Dawn, Susan; Billy,
Gary; Nick; and a long list of friends, including close friends in the
Freshwater, Placentia area, and her many friends who are members of
her Mount Pearl Senior’s Independence Group especially Marie Cook and
Geraldine Sceviour.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher’s Funeral Home,
Placentia. Visitation to take place on Thursday,
January 27 from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Private
burial at 11 am on Friday January 28. Due to the
ongoing COVID-19 Public Health Guidelines, visitation is permitted
with Covid restrictions.

lung association at nf.lung.ca.
