Agnes Chard age 88, passed peacefully after a short Illness at G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital on August 6, 2022.
Agnes was born into a large family to Felix and Bridget Fitzgerald and lived her entire life in Bonavista, Newfoundland.
Agnes is pre-deceased by daughters Daphne and Christine, son Monty (Beverly), brothers Edward, Danny, Frederick, sisters Mary, Irene and Sheila.
Survived by her husband Reginald Wilbert Chard and her children, Wayne (Sylvia), Tony (Shirley), Paul (Rhonda) and Todd (Beverly), son-in-law Albert, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, brothers Anthony and Danny, sisters Madge and Rita.
Mom retired at age 65 from Golden Heights Manor after over 20 years service as Director of Recreation, though she loved working in this capacity, mom was a skilled and accomplished seamstress, imparting her knowledge to her family and friends. Mom will be fondly remembered and cherished for her love and dedication to her family of whom she was so proud, hospitable servant heart, baking and cooking delicious meals and treats, following her strong Christian faith with her amazing ability to see hope in times of trouble and timely encouraging words.

Visitation Monday, August 8 and Tuesday, August 9 (2-4 pm and 7-9pm)
Service Wednesday, August 10 2pm
