Obituary
Ray Douglas Sinclair, 69, of Coalhurst AB, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 4th, 2022 due to a medical condition.
Ray was referred to as an encyclopedia of knowledge, he remembered everything he learned throughout his life. In his professional life he obtained several certificates, such as, heavy-duty mechanic, automotive mechanic, commercial vehicle inspection licensing, and he held his class-1 operator’s license.
In his later and more recent years, he gained certification in site and soil evaluations as well as spent time designing and installing septic systems. He had a passion for solving problems, and he taught me the value of stepping back, taking a break and re-evaluating when I was frustrated with my own struggles.
He had a passion for his pets, camping, water sports and (‘drag’) racing. He is survived by his two sons, Trevor (47) and Scott (45); two granddaughters, Larissa (12) and Jasmine (8); as well as his older and younger brothers, Lee and Dean.
A Celebration of Ray’s Life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday March 13 2022, at the Royal Canadian Legion, Coalhurst Branch #273, 5205 6 Street, Coalhurst. All are welcome to the informal occasion.
