Obituary
Alphonse LeBlanc of Canal, NB (formerly of Saint John) passed away at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont on October 4, 2022 at the age of 90. Born in College Bridge, Memramcook on December 12, 1931, he was the son of the late Alfred and Louise (Belliveau) LeBlanc. He worked as a welding supervisor at the Saint John Shipbuilding and Dry Dock for 40 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Therese, one daughter, Cecile (Kevin) Delaney of Canal, NB, two sons, Alfred LeBlanc of Saint John and Ronald LeBlanc of Moncton, three grandchildren, Justin, Gillian and Jarred, one sister, Alfreda (Walter) Kelly of Riverview, four brothers, Donald (Catherine) LeBlanc of College Bridge, Arcade (Margaret) LeBlanc of Waltham, MA, Valmore (Patricia) LeBlanc of Dieppe and Norbert (Rose) LeBlanc of College Bridge and several nieces and nephews. Beside his parents, he was predeceased by one son Paul and one brother Leo-Paul. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Friday October 7 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Funeral mass will be held at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East on Friday October 7 at 4:00 pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
