Obituary
Albert Lorenz Henkelman was born January 13, 1933 in Strathcona County, Alberta to Sam and Lydia Henkelman. He was the oldest of three children. Albert farmed in the Usona area all of his life. His greatest love was auction sales. That’s where you could usually find him, always looking for a good buy which reflected in his collection. When he was in a good mood telling jokes, he could always make you laugh. Albert passed away at the Wetaskiwin Hospital and Care Centre on June 21, 2022, diagnosed with dementia.
Albert was predeceased by his parents Sam and Lydia Henkelman; his sister Ruth (Ralph) Spelrem; his brother Ed (Helen) Henkelman; and his great-nephews Sam Doupe and Levi Busat.
Albert will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Joann (Trent), John (Trina), Eddy (Brenda), Harley (Arlene), Ken (Ronda), David (Sandy), Lorne, Darren (Natalie), Sheila (Don), Janice (Chuck); as well as many great-nieces , great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
At Albert’s request, no Funeral Service will be held.
