William “Bill” H.
Armstrong, 74, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton
Hospital on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Born in Moncton, he was the son

Armstrong.
Bill was an Electrician, he
began his working career at the age of 16 with Star Electric where he

loved baseball especially the Toronto Blue Jays, and in his earlier
years played with The Moncton Scooners who were inducted into the NB
Softball Hall of Fame in 2012 and The Moncton Vipond Sprinklers who
were inducted into NB Softball Hall of Fame in 2010. He umpired ball
for many years. He enjoyed Golfing and Darts. But most important to
Bill was his family, especially his precious grandchildren, who he
cherished.
He will be sadly missed by his
loving wife of 49 years, Catherine Armstrong (nee Tower); daughters,
Janice Lewis (Charlie Capson) and Jennifer Armstrong; grandchildren,
Kaitlynn Lewis, Katrina Lewis, Jessica Furlong and Ryan Short;

(Ken); brothers, Jim Armstrong and Bob Armstrong (Claudette); as well
as several nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
