Wilhelmus (Bill) Tolenaars Sept 12, 1929 – September 28, 2021
Peacefully, in his 92nd year, Bill passed away, leaving behind his loving wife Anne, of 66 years, his 3 children: Shirley, Lianne, and Jack, grandchildren: Scott, Michelle, Shantelle, Dawn, Lisa, Jeff, Christine, Amber, Daniel, great-Grandchildren: Michael, Ryley, Talys, Chase, Landen, Layla, Sylvia, Hudson, Sabrina and Joey. He was predeceased by his loving son-in-law Rick and his much loved and devoted pet Tasha. Bill will be remembered for his ability to reminisce and share a great story, his love of sailing and boating and his way of checking in on his friends and family. More then anything in the world Bill loved his wife. He always remembered his roots back on the family farm in Holland and never forgot his family from afar. We’ll never forget Opa singing a Dutch rhyme while waving at the neighbours and working hard in the sunshine. Always willing to share his butter-smeared bread with sugar, some bacon on the side and a tea. He will be greatly missed by all.
