Passed away on Tuesday, December 7th at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Emiline (Dean) for the last 60 years. Loving father of Debra Poulton (Mark) and Lee Gosse (Susan). Cherished Poppy to Bailey Gervais (Shawn), Jessica Owens (Joshua) and Hunter Gosse (Avery). Step Poppy to Matt Smith (Amanda), Nathan Smith (Sabrina). Great Poppy will be sadly missed by Kir, Lexi, Jameson and Kendrick. Walter is survived by his brothers, Eugen, Lloyd (Ruth) Jimmy (Karen) and sisters, Evelyn Drover (Ray) and Shirley Thorne. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Sarah Gosse, brother Bill Gosse and sisters, Alfreda Bishop, Rose Derle. Also, we can’t forget the “mall” gang! Walter was employed by Walker Exhaust (Tennaco) for 43 years before retiring. Walter was well known by his co-workers as the happy go lucky fella. His humor and love of family will live on in the hearts of those that knew him. Visitation will be Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge. The Celebration of Walter’s life will be held at the Cambridge Salvation Army Citadel on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
