1941-2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Vivian
Mae Gauthier of Charlottetown, formerly of Hope River, at the Queen
Elizabeth Hospital peacefully with her husband Sonny by her
side.
She leaves behind her children whom she
loved dearly; Victor, Helen (Blair) Jeffrey and Rosie; her beloved
grandchildren, Steven (Jen), Joe, Alisha, Kali, JR, Dusty, Cody and
Colin; her adored great grandchildren Usher, Chloe, Ava, Anthony,
Holly, Andrew and Daniel. Vivian is also survived by her siblings,
Melvin (Anita) and Dennis (Kathy) and in-laws Gloria, Bev, Kenny,
Linda, Marie, Judy and Marian. She was predeceased by her parents Rose
and John Doiron. In-laws Helen and John Gauthier, siblings Lawrence,
Rita (in infancy), Ivan, Marie Gallant, Louise Clarkin, Victor;
in-laws Carol Gauthier, Gary Gauthier, Wayne Brown and Joseph
Gallant.
Vivian enjoyed life fully with Sonny,
spending his money, fishing, bingo, baking, hanging out with coffee
friends, driving out to the country, taking care of her kids and her
grandkids who were her pride and joy.
The
family would like to thank Dr. Hennessey and the staff of Unit 1 of
the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and also the wonderful caring staff at
the Victoria General Hospital where she received excellent care over
the past 12 years.
Following Vivian’s
wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. On-line
