Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vittorino Soncin on December 26, 2021 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of over 61 years to Lamberta. Loving father to Dennes (Melissa), and Paolo (Marilyn). Dear grandfather to Stephen (Riley), Michael (Chanelle), Jessica (Ivan), and Erin; great-granddaughters Kyleigh and Cadence. Dear brother to Miranda, Antonio (Luci) and Margaret.
Vittorino immigrated to Toronto from La Salute Di Livenza, Venezia, Italy as a young carpenter. Since arriving in Canada, Vittorino has built a legacy that is immeasurable. Both at home and in business, Vittorino was passionate, dedicated, and cared deeply about the people in his life. These values made him a well respected figure in every community he touched. He is respected not only as one of the original builders of the civil infrastructure of the City of Toronto, but as a husband, father, brother and friend.
Due to COVID, a private mass and funeral will be held on December 31, 2021 . You will be able to view and listen to the Mass by clicking the link below. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
