Surrounded by family Vincenza Panzarella passed away peacefully on August 24, 2021, at the age of 98. Predeceased by her husband Natale in 1978. Beloved mother of Giuseppe (Loretta), Annette (Mario) and Tony (Josephine). Proud grandmother to Michael, Lauren, Christina, and Stephen. Reunited in heaven with her sisters Caterina and Maria.
Vincenza was born in Curinga, Catanzaro, Italy where she met and married Natale. They immigrated to Toronto, Canada with their young family in 1958.
She will lovingly be remembered for her faith in God and passionate love of family. Vincenza filled the hearts of those who knew her with joy and laughter and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave.) on Sunday August 29 from 3 – 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Fidelis Church (33 Connie Street, south of Hwy 401 and East of Keele Street) on Monday, August 30, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in loving memory to Vincenza’s favourite charity: The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation thepmcf.ca/
