VINCENT GEORGE SMITH
April 10,1946 – September 9,2021
Vince began his life’s journey in Viking, Alberta, son of Georgina (McIvor) and William Vincent Smith.
Along the way moved to British Columbia, married, divorced, and in 1972 married his wife of 49 years, Deanna.
Vince’s worked for over 30 years with the Federal Labour Program which took him to numerous locations in British Columbia.
April 1993, he relocated from Prince George to Nanaimo with wife Deanna and their Old English Sheepdogs. Retired from his government position in 2011 and spent time on his boat, fishing, camping and occasionally accompanying his wife to the dog shows.
He leaves behind his wife Deanna, his son William, granddaughters, brother and sister-in-law Malcolm & Dianne niece and nephews
In lieu of flowers please donate to Canadian Liver Foundation.
The family will have open house at their residence Sunday, October 24,2021, 2 – 4pm for all friends and family.
