STRUTHERS, Vietta Jean –
At Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Picton on Monday, October 11, 2021, Vietta Struthers (nee VanDusen) of Mary Street, Picton died at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late John & Marie VanDusen (nee Brooks) and wife of the late Beacher. Vietta was the loving mother of Cindy Snider of Lloydminster, Alberta, Randy (& Vera) of Demorestville, Brian of Belleville, and Peter (& Lorie) of Picton and grandmother of Jay, Kendall, Ben, Michelle, Ryan, David, and Mackenzie and great grandmother of 12 great grandchildren. Vietta is survived by her sister Helen Kuhar of Oshawa and her brother Wayne VanDusen of Flinton. She is predeceased by her brother Merlin VanDusen and her sister Elaine Heffernan and she will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Struthers is resting at the Rushnell Funeral Home – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street West, Picton (613-476-2450). A Graveside Service will be held at Cherry Valley Cemetery on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 2 pm with Rev. Audrey Whitney officiating.
