Victoria Nekolaichuk 1938 2021

Victoria (Vickie) Nekolaichuk
May 24, 1938 – November 19, 2021
Vickie Peacefully transitioned on Nov 19 with family by her side, she was always full of love and life and family was the most important thing to her.
Vickie will be lovingly Remembered and Greatly Missed by her 3 Daughters: Gail (Bruce) Hull, Shelley (Mike) McGee, Lorie (Terry) Shymansky.
She was affectionately known as GiGi by her 6 Grandchildren: Tanya (Sean), Melissa (Kyle), Owen (Jasmine), Jesse, Janessa (Nick), Janelle (Tyler) and her 6 Great Grandchildren: Zola, Zakk, Kinley, Paxton, Kylie and Allegra. She is also survived by her Sisters: Lilly, Betty, (Randy) Brother: Gary (Sherri) and numerous family and friends.
Vickie was predeceased by: her Husband Alexander of 63 years on March 2018, she missed him greatly and the Family takes Great Comfort in knowing they are together again. Also by her Mother: Mary and Father: George, Brother John and Baby Brother Steve.
She was born in Smoky Lake then moved to Edmonton in 1950 and met Alexander, (Alex) the love of her life in 1953. They were married and moved to Drayton Valley in 1955 and never left. Coming to DV back in those days was quite a shock to Vickie as there was not much here as the oilfield was just beginning. She moved from lease to lease as Alex was working on a drilling rig. They later started their own Business Jet Steam Cleaning and made their home on the (Buffalo) Range.
Celebration of Life will follow in May of 2022.
