Saad, Victoria (nee Khoury)
October 27, 1927-December 13, 2021
Victoria passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on December 13, 2021 at Windsor Regional Hospital Met Campus after a brief illness.
Predeceased by her husband Naji Saad (1978), her parents Raja and Mariam Khoury (nee Danial), her brother Subhi Khoury and sister Suraya Banna (nee Khoury), sister-in-law Najla Khoury (nee Saad), Atif Saad.
Survived by the family she cherished; her son Abraham Saad, her daughter Nancy and husband Ernie Tessier, her grandson Micheal Tessier, her granddaughter Sylvia and husband Mark MacDonald, and great grandson Aidan.
Victoria was an educator, an administrative secretary, and a lifelong learner. She accomplished everything she set her mind on, carved out a path for other young women to continue their educations past the 7th grade, negotiated her way to a higher education, while pursuing he career. Her office skills earned her a job as administrative secretary at the municipality which hired three people to replace her when she took early retirement.
She was devoted to her religion, prayed daily, belonged to St. Vincent De Paul Church, St. Alphonsus Church, Assumption Church, and sponsored more than six people to the seminary to become Catholic priests.
Victoria will be sorely missed by her immediate family, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Private family visitation at Families First Dougall Ave, has taken place and private interment at Windsor Memorial where she will finally be reunited with her husband.
The family thanks the doctors, nurses and staff at ER and Palliative Care at Metropolitan Hospital for their special care of Victoria in making sure she is comfortable in her final hours. Special thanks to Dr. Ahmad in ER.
The family would also like to thank the staff at Heron Terrace LTC, for taking exceptional care of her and keeping the family in the loop through the last couple of years or restrictions due to the pandemic.
And finally, the family would like to thank the staff at Families First for all their help and guidance each step of the way.
